  • These processes include all post treatment sealing, dyes, and PTFE (teflon).
  • The majority of Powder Coatings and Paints are RoHS compliant. Please inquire about the powder or paint you call out.
  • The following processes that we still have that are not RoHS compliant are as follows:

Black Chromate conversion on Zinc plating: zinc black

Yellow Hexavalent Chromate conversion on Zinc plating: zinc yellow

Chromate on Aluminum (yellow and clear): yellow chromate or clear chromate

REACH Compliance Statement

The Coating Systems Group certifies to the best of their knowledge that items plated within the spectrum of RoHS compliant are also REACH compliant as well. REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals) compliance is in regards to the plating provided only, and not to the part as a whole. Coating Systems does not certiff any materials that are provided by our customers and any materials added to the product after plating by a third party.

All products supplied to our customers that are RoHS compliant also do not contain any of the substances of high concern greater than the concentrations specified in the REACH Regulation.
